Fred and Janice Rivers
Fred Rivers and his wife, Janice, co-pastor Destiny Church in Cullman, Alabama. After Fred surrendered to the Lord, he felt to move to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Oral Roberts University where he received a Master of Divinity Degree.
While living in Tulsa he taught at Victory Bible Institute and he and Janice together worked on staff at Victory Christian Center serving under Pastors Billy Joe and Sharon Daugherty.

Mandy Redding is our Administrator and Team Builder. She also serves as Outreach administrator. She is a graduate of Agape Bible Institute and has served in almost every area of ministry from multimedia and event planning to teaching and preaching. Mandy has served as the children’s pastor, youth pastor, led multiple youth/adult mission trips to Mexico and America, and has been the leader/trainer for Evangelism Explosion.
Mandy has been teaching in Cullman County for 19 years. She currently teaches Technology Education at Vinemont Middle School. Her family has been in ministry for over 30 years and she was raised to serve God with all her heart and strength. Her brother is the head football coach at Fairview High. She has 4 nieces and 1 nephew that she enjoys spending time with. Mandy is also an avid college football fan, loves traveling- especially to the beach, playing putt-putt golf, and spending time with family and friends.
Alisa has been involved with the worship team at Destiny Church for 8+ years. Before becoming the worship pastor, Alisa played the drums, taught worship to children, and led the youth drama team. She has written several songs and the Holy Spirit is inspiring new lyrics and music in her all the time. Besides worship, which is her favorite thing to do, Alisa loves to spend time with her family and attend her children’s sporting events.
Alisa is married to Greg Thompson and has three children- Garrett, Zane, and Emma Grace.
John and Amanda Bullard
John and Amanda Bullard serve as pastors for Destiny Kids Children’s Ministry. They became active in ministry as teenagers. They served in various areas of helps ministry including nursery, children’s ministry, worship, and youth. They both served on staff at Alabama Bible Church in
Blountsville, AL for over 4 years after graduating high school. They have been married over 14 years and have 3 children, Austin is 11, Olivia is 9, and Addison is about to turn 5. The children currently attend Blountsville Elementary school. John is working on obtaining the Certified Financial Planner designation. Amanda is pursuing an elementary education degree. They have been attending and faithfully serving at World Outreach Center in Oneonta for the past 7 and a half years. John has been active in leading worship for the majority of their time there. Amanda has served in various roles of children’s ministry there and has been the preschool director for the last 5 years and John serves alongside her. They have been leaders in facilitating events such as small groups, marriage retreats, and Encounter weekends. They feel especially passionate about family as the fundamental building block in the church and in our society. They believe children today need strong leadership devoted not only to teaching them they have a purpose, but equipping them and propelling them to achieve it.
Jeff and Melinda Waddell
Jeff and Melinda graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1990 and were married the next day. For the last 26+ years, they have served God and the church through ministering to the family in several capacities. As children’s pastors in different churches through the years, they networked with parents and teens to facilitate ministry. As youth pastors at Destiny, they serve with an ever-growing team of diverse, passionate volunteers to connect today’s students to a real, relevant, and relational Jesus. As new member pastors, they facilitate Destiny Fast Track, a ministry team designed to help believers progress from attending church to finding their destiny through connecting with a small group and Team Destiny. Jeff and Melinda also work for Transforming Lives, a dynamic Christ-centered organization whose focus is teaching positive relational skills through parenting classes, basic living skills for teens, and anger management classes. The Waddell’s have 6 children-college age and younger. In their spare time, they look for somewhere quiet.
Lori is our Foundation Station Nursery Director. She has served in nursery ministry for many years. Lori is married to Ken Guess. They have three children-Dylan, Patience, and Aubrey.
Stephanie leads our creative team. She is married to Matthew Carroll. They both currently serve on the worship team.
